WalGreen's 3/9/09

From what I have learned, when there is a Diaper sale, you RUN, you do not walk!
Even if you don't have kids, do the deal once to have on hand for baby shower gifts.
I bought alot of Cokes for my Scrapbook Retreat that I was hosting at the end of March.

1-Walgreen's Headache tablets $ 2.99 - $ 2.99 Walgreen's Rebate = FREE
2-Excedrin Menstral Relief tablets $ 5.99 ea = $ 11.98 - (2) $ 4 Walgreen's coupons - (2) $ 2 MQ = FREE
8-12 packs of cokes $ 3.25 ea = $ 26 - $ 6 RR = $ 20 ($ 2.50 a 12 pk)
3-packs of Huggies refill wipes $ 6 ea x 3 = $ 18 - (3) $ .50 MQ = $ 16.50
4-packs Huggies Diapers $ 10 ea x 4 = $ 40 - (3) $ 1.50 MQ - $ 3 MQ = $ 32.50
2-packs of Pullup's $ 10 ea x 2 = $ 20 - (2) $ 2 MQ = $ 16
- $ 30 RR for 3 Diaper/Wipes Deals (Deal was, Buy $ 25 in Huggies products, get $ 10 RR)

Total $ 118.97
-$ 2.99 + (10%) $ 3.29 Walgreen's Rebate
- $ 36 Walgreen's Register Rewards
- $ 25 MQ or Walgreen's Coupons
NEW Total $ 54.68

**Note: Notice on the Excedrin, I used 2 types of coupons. The RULE is you can use a store coupon (Walgreen's) and a MQ (Manufacturer Coupon) on the same product. This is called STACKING. You can do this at any drug store or Kroger or Publix with their store's coupons.

**Important Note: Most Walgreen and CVS deals say 1 coupon printed per offer or per household. This means if you can do 3 deals, you will have to get each deal rung up as 3 different transactions to get the RR to print for each. Also, important, if you complete 1 deal and get a
$ 10 RR, you can't do the 2nd deal and use the $ 10 RR to help pay for your transaction, BECAUSE the rule is - you can't use RR from 1 deal to pay for the same deal in the next transaction. It will NOT print a new RR for your current deal if you use the diaper RR from the last transaction. Now if you earned a RR from the cokes deal, you could use it for helping pay for the diaper deal. (Just using the diaper deal as an example) Are you confused yet? It will take a few shopping trips to get it right, but I'm here to help. Always ask your store's mgr to credit and re-do the transaction if you don't get it right the first time.
